TetraScience is looking for a Scientific Data Architect to be a product-minded, outcome-obsessed driver of technical solutions. You will be instrumental in transforming complex scientific data into actionable outcomes and building extensible data models for Biopharma end users, working from our offices in Darmstadt or Düsseldorf, Germany.
What You'll Do
- Design and build solutions by prototyping, demoing, and building to accelerate product delivery.
- Collaborate with scientists, product managers, and engineers to transform complex scientific data into actionable outcomes.
- Engage with scientists and business leaders to maximize the value of scientific data.
- Bridge understanding between present-day pain points and generalizable solutions in the biopharma R&D domain.
- Build extensible data models and applications for Biopharma end users to maximize value from their data via analysis and integration with AI/ML.
What We're Looking For
- PhD with +4 years or Masters with +8 years of industry experience in life sciences.
- Extensive domain knowledge in drug discovery (target ID through lead optimization), preclinical development, CMC (all drug modalities), or product quality testing.
- Proven track record of defining, designing, prototyping, and implementing productized AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and scientific stakeholders.
- Experience performing extensive exploratory data analysis and workflow optimization to enable new scientific outcomes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to engage diverse audiences from scientists to executives.
- Experience advising scientists in a consulting capacity to further research, development, and quality testing outcomes.
