Khan Academy is hiring a freelance Science Exercise Creator to develop practice content for high school students in India. You will create engaging exercises for Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology for grades 11-12, contributing directly to our mission of providing free, world-class education. This is a work-from-home, pay-per-exercise position.
What You'll Do
- Create practice exercises and questions for Khan Academy's science content.
- Continuously iterate and improve your content based on feedback.
What We're Looking For
- A combined 4+ years of experience creating exercises for NCERT or State Boards for grades 11-12.
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build conceptual understanding and write crisp, clear questions and hints.
- Ability to create images and diagrams as needed to support exercises.
- Must be an Indian citizen living in India.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the India Content Team, working remotely within India. Our fast-paced nonprofit focuses on making education accessible in local languages and collaborating with large public school systems to reach underserved communities.
