Community Health Network is hiring a School Registered Nurse Ambulatory to play a vital role in fostering student health and development. You will deliver health services within school settings, ensuring students can achieve their full learning potential. What You'll Do
- Provide health services to facilitate optimal growth and development for students.
- Care for students with chronic health issues and identify health needs during the school day.
- Provide health education, medication management, emotional support, and referral to higher levels of care.
- Promote healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning.
- For PRN roles: Be available to work a minimum of three shifts per month between August-May to maintain competency.
- For PRN roles: Float to all school districts within the assigned South region (Franklin Township, Clark Pleasant, Perry Township, Center Grove, Greenwood, and Decatur Township).
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, OR three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- One year or more of nursing experience required.
- Two years of experience working with pediatric patients required.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Compassionate, caring, accountable, and self-directed.
Work Mode
This position is onsite within South region school districts: Franklin Township, Clark Pleasant, Perry Township, Center Grove, Greenwood, and Decatur Township.
