Role Overview
Join a forward-thinking consulting team as an SAP Solution Architect focused on FICO, where you'll play a central role in shaping financial systems within private cloud landscapes. This position is based in India and requires a professional with extensive SAP S/4HANA experience to lead solution design, drive cloud-based finance transformations, and support clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and configuration of SAP FICO solutions in private cloud deployments
- Translate business needs into efficient, scalable financial processes within SAP environments
- Ensure tight integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP
- Guide clients through financial transformation initiatives and cloud migration strategies
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to transfer knowledge to stakeholders and project teams
- Advise on compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards
- Support end-to-end project cycles, including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Act as a subject matter expert on SAP best practices for finance and controlling in cloud environments
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 12 years of SAP experience, with 3–5 years in a Solution Architect role on S/4HANA projects
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP FICO, including Financial Accounting and Controlling
- Proven track record in designing and delivering solutions in private cloud and cloud deployment models
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and integration points across SAP modules
- Experience in migration and implementation projects involving S/4HANA Finance
- Ability to develop compliant, scalable financial architectures aligned with industry standards
- Excellent analytical capabilities for resolving complex financial and controlling challenges
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with financial compliance, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
