About the Role
Design and implement master data solutions in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, aligning business needs with data governance and global compliance standards. Lead data strategy, migration, and process adoption across international projects.
Responsibilities
- Translate operational requirements into precise master data specifications to support seamless value-chain operations in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams by transforming functional needs into SAP data models, governance policies, and system design choices.
- Lead collaborative sessions to establish master data standards, ownership models, approval workflows, and compliance with regulations such as GxP, cGMP, serialization, and traceability.
- Deliver functional expertise on SAP MDG, covering workflow configuration, data validation rules, governance frameworks, and integration with S/4HANA.
- Support system blueprinting, fit-gap assessments, user acceptance testing, and deployment of MDG-driven processes.
- Evaluate and improve data quality through standardization, harmonization, and lifecycle management across global operations.
- Participate in data cleansing, enhancement, and migration initiatives using SAP ETL and BDC methods for S/4HANA transitions.
- Manage or oversee SAP ILM and data archiving activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Train data stewards and end users on governance practices, standards, and MDG procedures to support change management and system adoption.
- Develop clear documentation, including playbooks, RACI matrices, governance models, and other consulting deliverables.
