About the Role
The role involves developing and maintaining user-centric applications on the SAP platform, integrating frontend technologies with backend systems, and supporting digital transformation initiatives through technical expertise and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 frameworks
- Develop and enhance ABAP code for backend functionality and data processing
- Integrate frontend components with SAP backend systems via OData services
- Implement cloud-based solutions leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Support deployment and configuration of SAP UI applications in different environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across UI and backend layers
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
- Participate in agile development cycles including planning, testing, and delivery
- Maintain documentation for development processes and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection policies
- Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing within the team
- Stay current with SAP technology updates and best practices
- Assist in migration projects from legacy SAP GUI to modern Fiori interfaces
- Work with SAP Gateway services to enable seamless system communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori launchpad configuration
- Knowledge of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model
- Certification in SAP development technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in SAP environments
