Bausch Health is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in the NW Edmonton area. You will be responsible for selling our pharmaceutical products within a designated geographic territory, focusing on achieving sales targets and developing new business. What You'll Do
- Sell the organization’s products within a designated geographic territory.
- Focus on territory sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of promoted product key messages and consistently deliver them to customers.
- Engage customers in needs-based selling discussions that position our products as a solution.
- Leverage the clinical, business, and social needs of the customer to drive product adoption and build loyalty.
- Treat everyone in the office as a customer, including front office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Read the environment in an office or clinic and adapt your approach based on circumstances.
- Manage your territory like it is your own business.
- Formulate short- and long-term customer plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Take a bigger picture view of your territory to assess and analyze potential to grow business.
- Develop effective business plans.
- Use data sources like Xponent, TSA sales, and FSA data to analyze your territory and identify business opportunities.
- Leverage doctor-level data and knowledge of the customer to individualize your selling approach.
- Work your territory effectively to achieve the right call frequency on key physicians.
- Understand how to work within a doctor’s office or clinic to optimize access to key decision makers and use of selling time.
- Dedicate yourself to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers, both external and internal.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Sciences.
- 5-7 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience.
- A motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing situations.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to a Regional Sales Manager, collaborating within a dynamic sales environment focused on delivering better health outcomes.
Work Mode
This role is based locally in NW Edmonton.
