This role is responsible for managing complex commercial deals, ensuring compliance with pricing policies, and enabling efficient sales processes through accurate deal structuring and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review and process high-value and complex sales agreements
- Ensure adherence to pricing guidelines and approval workflows
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure viable deal proposals
- Maintain accuracy in contract terms and system entries
- Identify opportunities to improve deal desk procedures
- Support timely deal execution from initiation to closure
- Resolve discrepancies in pricing or contract details
- Generate reports on deal metrics and performance indicators
- Act as a liaison between sales, legal, and finance departments
- Monitor deal desk KPIs and service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards
- Provide guidance on discounting and margin thresholds
- Assist in onboarding new sales personnel to deal desk protocols
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and pricing models
- Escalate high-risk or non-standard deals according to policy
- Optimize use of CRM and deal management systems
- Support quarterly and annual sales closing activities
- Drive consistency in deal documentation and approval routing
- Analyze deal trends and recommend process enhancements
- Facilitate training for sales teams on deal desk requirements
- Ensure data integrity across sales and billing systems
- Work cross-functionally to resolve post-signature issues
- Track and report on deal desk cycle times
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive commercial information
- Support audit readiness for sales contracts and pricing
