VitalSource Technologies, LLC is looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to join its Sales team in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. In this hybrid role, you'll be a key support function for the sales organization, ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity to drive performance.
What You'll Do
- Assist with day-to-day sales operations, including tracking and updating the sales pipeline, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate data entry in Salesforce.
- Monitor and analyze sales pipeline metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern, providing insights to support strategic decisions.
- Coordinate all new non-standard Deals Desk submissions to ensure consistency and support the sales team with booklist analysis, pricing, and quotations.
- Manage the flow of leads from various sources, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking in the CRM system.
- Conduct research on potential sales leads, gather relevant information, and book appointments for sales representatives.
- Support the sales team in maintaining strong client relationships by managing communication, scheduling meetings, and handling inquiries.
- Attend sales meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-up actions are documented and assigned.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations, utilizing pivot tables in Excel to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ensure the integrity of sales data within Salesforce by regularly updating and maintaining accurate records.
- Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, to ensure a seamless sales process and excellent client experience.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in the education and publishing industries to support the sales team and contribute to strategic discussions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in commercial fields.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce engagement and enablement tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.
