About the Role

World Kinect is looking for a Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Sales Executive in Training to develop a comprehensive skillset in selling Total Fluid Solutions. You’ll work closely with a Sales Executive in your assigned market to understand profits, manage budgets, and grasp product knowledge in a culturally-diverse, entrepreneurial environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and identify new leads and opportunities within the current customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current customers.
  • Work with contractors and vendors to manage on-site repairs and improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues related to pricing, billing, and service.
  • Set up Fleet Fueling accounts to include bar coding and creating route cards.
  • Support sales executives in setting up new Ship To locations in back office systems.
  • Perform emergency small package lubricant/DEF deliveries.
  • Work with the equipment department and vendors to ensure tanks are set up and labeled properly (Lubes).
  • Assist Key Account Managers (KAMs) with temporary tank placements (Fuel).
  • Perform day-after-delivery experience follow up via phone call or text for new customers.
  • Confirm details such as delivery schedule, delivery hours, and correct point of contact information.
  • Perform customer goodwill visits.
  • Support sales executives with fuel quality issues and product sampling when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role; energy/fuel industry experience is not required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a commitment to delivering superior customer service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong user capability with Microsoft Office products and CRM databases such as Salesforce.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
