U-Haul is hiring a Sales Engineer to provide technical sales support for IBM Automation solutions, including Observability, FinOps, and IT Financial Management, to the Canada region. In this role, you will lead partner enablement and apply deep technical expertise to assist with discovery, analysis, design, and demonstration throughout the sales cycle.

What You'll Do

Establish relationships with Arrow Supplier teams, partners, and customers to support joint sales, marketing, and services objectives.
Consult with customers using knowledge of competitive solutions.
Execute technical sales calls as a lead or team member.
Configure and document hardware, software, Cloud, service, and education solutions that meet partner and supplier needs.
Complete required presales documentation quickly, accurately, and completely.
Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, and decision-making processes.
Present and market the design, value, and business case of proposed supplier technology solutions to partners, customers, prospects, and Arrow management.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM Automation offerings and principles, including current industry certification(s).
Ability to present effectively to groups.
A clean and credible social media presence.
Willingness to travel 30% - 40%.
Ability to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by leadership.

Nice to Have

A 4-year degree with 5 years of related experience.
Working knowledge of Watsonx.data, Watsonx.AI, and Watsonx.governance.
Certification(s) in Cloud technologies, with a preference for IBM Automation/Red Hat OpenShift.
Certification(s) or experience in OSX, Windows, and Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred).
Certification(s) or experience in virtualization & container technologies.
Certification(s) or experience in a scripting or programming language.
