About the Role
This position leads sales efforts for retail clients in a defined region, focusing on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts through consultative selling and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales initiatives for retail customers across the assigned territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success
- Deliver product presentations tailored to client needs
- Track and report on sales performance metrics regularly
- Develop strategic account plans for high-potential prospects
- Respond to customer inquiries with timely and accurate information
- Coordinate with marketing on localized campaigns
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape
- Support onboarding for newly acquired clients
- Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system
- Travel within the district to meet clients and partners
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Provide input on sales strategy based on market insights
- Train and mentor junior sales representatives when needed
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
- Monitor customer satisfaction and retention metrics
- Align sales approach with brand values and messaging
- Use data to refine outreach and conversion tactics
- Escalate technical or service issues to appropriate teams
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus commission and performance bonuses

Hybrid with regular field work and client meetings
