Optum Tech (UnitedHealth Group) was looking for a Sales Account Executive

Optum Tech (UnitedHealth Group) is looking for a Sales Account Executive on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will guide external organisations through their full journey with Optum's partner ecosystem. This is a hybrid role based in Leeds.

What You'll Do

  • Lead regular conversations and review meetings with partner organisations, ensuring they receive clear guidance and timely support.
  • Manage new enquiries, helping organisations understand the benefits of the partner programme and guiding them through onboarding.
  • Support commercial discussions, including pricing models, contract changes and opportunities to expand partnership activity.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, provide reliable forecasting and keep up to date with product developments to confidently support partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage partners at all levels and build solid, trusting relationships.
  • Proven ability to be highly organised and detail-focused, be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a proactive and solution oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, working independently when needed, and staying focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to understand partner needs, ask thoughtful questions and respond clearly.
  • Proven experience in business development or account management.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated positive, collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to support both partners and colleagues.
  • Must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.

This role sits within the Partners team in the Growth function.

This is a hybrid role based in Leeds.
