Cognizant is hiring a SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM) Engineer

About the Role

Cognizant is looking for a SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM) Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, engineering, deployment, and support of SailPoint FAM as part of our Provisioning & Identity Management product suite. In this role, you will serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert, providing consultation and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects.

What You'll Do

  • Design, engineer, deploy, and support SailPoint File Access Manager (FAM) software.
  • Partner with business and internal teams to drive the integration and onboarding of systems onto the SailPoint FAM platform.
  • Develop FAM Provisioning & Identity Management strategy and technology roadmaps with Governance, Risk, HR, and Enterprise Technology partners.
  • Translate business and security requirements into technical specifications and produce enterprise-level architecture and engineering designs.
  • Provide technical consultation to application owners on SailPoint integration best practices and standardization.
  • Ensure successful execution of engineering projects in collaboration with operations, information security, architecture, and project managers.
  • Serve as a third and last line of escalation point for FAM IAM Services, providing in-depth investigation and troubleshooting.
  • Work with vendors to resolve application, software, and hardware issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for SailPoint FAM and affiliated technologies.
  • Create support documents and provide training to support and operations teams.
  • Oversee work performed by external consultants, reviewing design and code.
  • Research and recommend new processes for automation and improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in implementation, administration, configuration, and support of SailPoint FAM software.
  • 10+ years of technical experience with multiple 3rd party IAM solutions in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Hands-on experience implementing, administering, configuring, and supporting SailPoint File Access Manager and its supporting technologies.
  • Experience integrating SailPoint FAM in a large corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle, rules, lifecycle events, and provisioning workflows.
  • Working knowledge of IAM standards & protocols including SAML, OpenID Connect, Oauth, LDAP, Kerberos.
  • Strong Programming skills in a DevOps environment (e.g., Java, BeanShell, JSP/Servlets, PERL, Unix Shell scripts, Batch, Powershell, VB Script, SQL, PL/SQL, Python).
  • Experience with multiple operating systems (UNIX, Windows, Linux, AIX).
  • Experience with web technologies (WebServices, RESTful API frameworks, Application servers like Tomcat/JBoss, JSON).
  • Experience with database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Experience with Single Sign On, MFA, SCIM, and Federation.
  • Experience with directory integration including Active Directory, LDAP, Virtual Directories.
  • Automation and/or scripting skills.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization (e.g., VMware, HyperV) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
  • Good understanding of the current regulatory environment and implications for identity management, security, and audit compliance.
  • Strong coordination and interpersonal skills for interaction with different teams across the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to simplify technical issues into business language.
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).
