This role is responsible for managing and securing enterprise IT systems with a focus on cloud infrastructure, compliance, and data protection. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems while maintaining alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
- Lead coordination with managed service providers to ensure system integrity, compliance, and operational continuity.
- Design and implement role-based access controls within Azure cloud environments to enforce security and data governance.
- Manage user provisioning, authentication, and remote access across Microsoft 365 GCC and associated platforms.
- Drive CMMC compliance efforts, including readiness assessments, documentation, and ongoing program sustainment.
- Develop and maintain System Security Plans, POA&Ms, and security policies to support audit and accreditation processes.
- Structure and govern SharePoint environments, defining data storage policies and access protocols.
- Verify the effectiveness of backup and recovery procedures through regular audits and testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; professional certifications may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years in systems administration with cloud, networking, and enterprise systems, or 3 years focused on cybersecurity compliance.
- U.S. citizenship required to meet background investigation and Top-Secret clearance eligibility.
- Must pass initial and recurring random drug testing.
- Proven experience with Azure AD, Microsoft 365 GCC, SharePoint, Teams, endpoint protection, and backup solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of SSPs, POA&Ms, and compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and system hardening is strongly preferred.
