Community Health Network is looking for a Room Service Host to join our food service team. In this role, you will provide essential customer-focused care by assisting patients with their nutritional needs, ensuring meals align with prescribed diets. You'll be a key part of our mission to deliver exceptional care, simply delivered, to the community.
What You'll Do
- Assist patients with appropriate food selections in accordance with their diet prescription.
- Communicate the daily menu clearly and effectively to patients.
- Prepare and deliver late trays for assigned patients.
- Work in close partnership with other team members.
- Provide customer-focused care to every patient served.
What We're Looking For
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to demonstrate job competency following completion of on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
- Requires reading, writing, mathematical skills, and ability to operate a computer terminal.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist frequently.
- Requires visual and hearing acuity to read menus and hear patient, visitor, or staff responses.
Nice to Have
- One year of experience in a food service department.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
