AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team for full-time night shifts. You will provide comprehensive patient care in an environment that values the wholeness of each person and extends the healing ministry of Christ. This role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and interventions.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and their families.
- Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare team.
- Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities.
- Respond to code situations promptly and effectively to stabilize patients.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Required).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from an EV Accredited Issuing Body.
