AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Decision Unit on a part-time basis for day shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, medication administration, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will contribute to our mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, serving patients holistically in body, mind, and spirit.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- Fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
- Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs

- 1+ years experience in an acute care hospital setting

- Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED)
