Henry Ford Health is seeking an RN - Palliative Care at Home to join our team. In this role, you will provide compassionate nursing care to hospice and palliative care patients in their homes, adhering to our established care concepts. You will report to and work under the supervision of the hospice and/or palliative care at home manager, occasionally stepping into a managerial capacity in their absence.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to hospice and palliative care at home patients.
- Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the hospice and/or palliative care at home manager.
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
Nice to Have
- Hospice and/or palliative care at home certification.
- A working knowledge of current pain and symptom management.
- Experience appropriate to the needs of hospice and palliative care at home patients and their families.
- Strong interpersonal skills to present a positive image of hospice and palliative care at home.
- Ability to be flexible in adapting policies and procedures to meet patient and family needs.
Team & Environment
You will work under the supervision of the hospice and/or palliative care at home manager and report directly to them.

Work Mode
This position requires on-site work in Detroit, Michigan, and surrounding Wayne County.
