P2P.org is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Vaults division. You will research, design, and implement algorithmic yield strategies for stablecoin and crypto vaults, focusing on quantitative risk assessment and model development to ensure robustness and security.
What You'll Do
- Research and design algorithmic yield strategies for stablecoin and crypto vaults, targeting risk-adjusted yield optimization.
- Quantitatively assess protocol-specific and systemic risks, such as smart contract vulnerabilities, liquidity depth, and market volatility.
- Develop probabilistic and scenario-based models to quantify tail risks, VaR, and protocol failure impact.
- Implement simulations, including Monte Carlo and agent-based modeling, to evaluate strategy robustness.
- Perform stress tests based on extreme market events, flash loan attacks, and stablecoin depegs.
- Work closely with engineers to productionize models, automate logic, and integrate risk controls into vault infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Financial Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in quantitative research, trading, or risk modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Python for quantitative research.
- Experience developing models for financial forecasting, portfolio optimization, or risk simulation.
- Familiarity with techniques like Monte Carlo simulations, time-series modeling, and statistical backtesting.
- Solid understanding of DeFi primitives like AMMs, lending/borrowing, stablecoins, LSTs, vaults, and yield farming.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably in crypto, DeFi, traditional finance, or fintech.
