DeepL is hiring a Revenue Analytics Engineer to join our Revenue Intelligence team and support our Go-to-Market Operations. In this Finance-focused role, you will partner deeply with the Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) team to manage our ARR pipeline, identify trends, and provide critical insights that shape our business performance and organizational growth strategy.
What You'll Do
- Define, maintain, and optimize key financial pipelines like ARR, translating business requirements into SQL and ensuring accurate metric tracking and reporting.
- Analyze revenue data to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities, providing actionable insights to the FP&A team and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate financial performance and forecasts to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with the VP of FP&A and other teams to align revenue analytics with financial planning and operational strategies.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather and analyze relevant data.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of revenue reporting and analytics.
- Utilize SQL, BI tools, and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, fostering a data-driven culture.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue analytics, financial analysis, or a related field, with a strong focus on subscription-based business models.
- Expertise in designing and implementing data models for analytics, using orchestration and transformation tools like dbt and Airflow.
- Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance.
- Experience in data manipulation and scripting with Python.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses; experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is preferred.
- Familiarity with GTM metrics and financial modeling.
- The ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate analytics needs into user-friendly, highly-performant data products.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using BI tools like Tableau or Metabase to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems independently.
Nice to Have
- A Master’s degree.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company, particularly in revenue operations or financial planning.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and its integration with financial data.
- Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics techniques.
- Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Work Mode
