What You'll Do
Lead the design and execution of research initiatives aimed at uncovering key developments in artificial intelligence. Identify high-impact questions, define project scope, and drive investigations across domains such as AI infrastructure, model performance, and industry trends. Develop quantitative forecasts for variables like compute capacity, power demands, and future capabilities, even when data is sparse or uncertain.
Design, implement, and interpret benchmarks for cutting-edge AI models, both by refining existing methods and proposing new evaluation frameworks. Analyze benchmark results using statistical and qualitative techniques, ensuring findings are robust and meaningful. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of structured datasets that support ongoing research efforts.
Produce clear, insightful reports and articles that translate complex findings for technical and broader audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate evaluation outcomes into publications and strategic insights. Propose and prototype new research directions grounded in emerging data or technological shifts.
