Mass General Brigham is looking for a Research and Policy Development Manager to oversee research initiatives and develop policies ensuring regulatory compliance for the MGB Health Plan. You will collaborate with various departments to identify policy needs and ensure adherence to best practices and legal requirements, supporting our not-for-profit mission of patient care, research, teaching, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research to identify regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and update hospital policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement and enforce policies.
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and recommend policy adjustments.
- Prepare reports and documentation for accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies.
- Provide training and education to staff on new and updated policies.
- Lead policy review committees and facilitate stakeholder engagement in policy development.
- Ensure all policies are accessible and communicated effectively across the organization.
- Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate policy compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree required (experience can be substituted for degree).
- At least 5-7 years in healthcare policy development, compliance, regulatory affairs, or accreditation, preferably in a health insurance setting.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Proficiency in policy development and regulatory compliance.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Mode
