Deel is looking for a Reports Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reports that provide valuable insights and legislative information. In this role, you will analyze data sources and create visually appealing, accurate reports to support various client and business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
- Analyze data sources and determine the best approach for extracting and presenting information.
- Design and develop reports using tools like SSRS and DevExpress.
- Develop SQL queries or use other programming languages to extract and manipulate data.
- Optimize report performance by resolving data retrieval and processing bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reports meet business needs.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure report accuracy and reliability.
- Adhere to business processes and commit to protecting the organization's security information assets.
- Update job knowledge and prepare personal development plans.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server including stored procedures, views, functions, and table design.
- 2 - 5 years of related experience in report development.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within tight timelines.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn rapidly.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: C# or VB.NET.
