Rentokil Initial is looking for a Sales Coach (m/w/d) to join our Initial - Hygiene business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing comprehensive sales training programs to empower our field sales team across Germany. You will play a key part in driving sales success and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Conceive, plan, and execute comprehensive sales training for field sales consultants.
- Impart skills and knowledge critical for the success of Sales Managers.
- Support the sales team at all locations in Germany for potential development, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Develop innovative and sustainable training concepts.
- Conduct practical sales training through individual coaching and continuous support, both online and offline.
- Impart know-how across the entire sales process, including customer planning, methods, techniques, contract closures, and product knowledge.
- Coordinate and document all measures to ensure sustainable added value from each training.
- Contribute your own sales competence and knowledge from active new customer acquisition for practical training.
- Continuously optimize training concepts and develop innovative e-learning content.
- Collaborate closely with management and sales leadership to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments in collaboration with HR and sales leadership to track progress and identify strengths and improvement opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of professional experience in a field sales position with initial personnel responsibility and/or as a sales trainer.
- A proven track record in new customer acquisition and expansion of existing customer business.
- Strong didactic, methodological, and conceptual skills as a mentor, trainer, and coach.
- Hands-on mentality, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented work style.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action, mediation and organizational skills, and persuasiveness.
- Openness, tolerance, and team spirit as well as a commitment to fostering a diverse corporate culture.
- Professional handling of common office tools.
- A valid driver's license, mandatory for field support.
- A high willingness to travel (approx. 80%) within Germany including overnight stays.
- Good to very good English skills.
