About World Business Lenders (www.wbl.com) World Business Lenders (WBL) delivers versatile short-term commercial loans secured by real estate for small and medium enterprises across the United States lacking traditional funding access. WBL manages its loan portfolio and third-party loan portfolios, specializing in non-performing loan pool and REO management. WBL is a U.S.-based organization with a fully remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. RESUMES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH. Essential Functions: - Generate and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. - Examine financial data for precision, comprehensiveness, and adherence to accounting standards. - Support development of financial projections, budgets, and variance evaluations. - Coordinate with internal teams to collect and analyze financial information. - Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP). - Detect opportunities for process enhancement and implement reporting efficiencies. - Additional projects and responsibilities as designated. Requirements: - Complete English language proficiency, with superior verbal and written communication skills - Advanced Excel capabilities - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline - Comprehensive understanding of K1 forms - 2+ years of State and Local Tax (SALT) experience required - Sage GL and AP experience preferred but not mandatory - Proficient in IFRS and/or USGAAP accounting - Microsoft software expertise: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred - Positive mindset and learning orientation - Proactive approach and robust professional commitment - Exceptional attention to detail Benefits: - CONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITION - PTO Available - USD salary - 100% Work from home
