At Philips, we believe we are better together than apart. We are looking for a Remote Service Engineer - Hospital Patient Monitoring to be the friendly expert who ensures our customers can work quickly and confidently. Based mainly in the Poland region, you will remotely diagnose and resolve equipment issues, coordinate parts and field support, and manage follow-up appointments and service quotes.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and ensure Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) software performance at remote locations on customer sites.
- Receive, register, and provide technical service to requests or problems from all media channels, communicating solutions or actions in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Provide solutions by using remote diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques, creating service work orders, and keeping the customer informed.
- Focus on remote resolution; where not possible, provide a clear action plan, parts, and diagnosis before dispatching onsite support.
- Coordinate customers’ requests for application training and cooperate with application specialists.
- Fulfill contract agreements and requirements including periodical software and patches upgrades on remote systems.
- Lead the realization of new projects in cooperation with Philips technical expertise resources and hospital IT teams.
- Manage cyber security aspects of network connections.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems in the medical domain.
- Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively in Polish and English with managers, technical colleagues, and hospital staff.
- Task-oriented, punctual, self-managing, and able to guide others toward goals without formal authority.
- Willingness to travel to hospitals across Poland and hold a valid category B driving license.
Nice to Have
- Previous Field Service Engineer experience with medical modalities.
