Ortus Health is looking for a Remote Salaried Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to deliver high-quality care and support to patients in a fully remote setting. You will join an innovative healthcare team providing a breadth of clinical services in primary care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct clinics in a remote primary care setting.
- Perform comprehensive medication reviews for patients, focusing on safety, efficacy, and adherence.
- Handle Acute/Repeat Medication requests and manage incoming sick note requests.
- Perform medication reconciliation.
- Investigate any clinical queries or complaints raised by practices involving clinical work.
- Be involved in the onboarding of new practices.
- Contribute to the design of Ortus clinical pathways and protocols.
- Stay updated with current pharmaceutical and clinical guidelines and contribute to the development of practice protocols.
- Provide leadership and management of the pharmacists at Ortus Health, including recruitment, management, and performance management.
What We're Looking For
- Registered pharmacist with current GPhC registration.
- Confident Independent Prescriber, who also knows their limits.
- At least 1 year of experience working in primary care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaborative working.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
