About the Role
This position involves delivering psychiatric services remotely to patients in Kansas, focusing on accurate diagnosis, medication oversight, and coordinated care within a multidisciplinary framework.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in accordance with clinical standards
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Coordinate care with therapists and other providers
- Respond to urgent clinical situations as needed
- Adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in peer consultations and case reviews
- Provide patient education on mental health and treatment options
- Support continuity of care across treatment settings
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
