Daybreak Health is hiring a Remote Mental Health Clinician — California State (W2 or 1099)

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to create a safe therapeutic environment
  • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
  • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California
  • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings
  • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services

Additional Information

  • This role is open to fully licensed clinicians only; associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
  • Bilingual clinicians earn an additional $5 per session
  • Most of our clinicians choose to provide 10 sessions per week, and we encourage you to work toward that as you settle in.
  • At least 25 weekly time slots, with a minimum of 17 completed sessions per week (averaged monthly) to retain base salary and benefits
  • Start with a minimum of just 5 sessions per week — perfect for work-life balance.
  • Compensation: $70–$85 per session, plus guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations.
