Baldwin Group Colleague, Inc. is looking for a Remote Licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, handling inbound and outbound calls and processing customer service emails. You'll service insurance policies by processing payments, making updates, and resolving issues, all while contributing to a culture that thrives on solving challenges.
What You'll Do
- Maintain timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, brokers, or insurance company partners.
- Document all activity in the online client file to ensure quality and responsiveness.
- Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to all clients.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints and recommending solutions.
- Answer product and service questions and make suggestions based on client needs.
- Open, cancel, and update client policy information based on requests.
- Provide system and procedure training to new colleagues and act as a subject-matter expert.
- Continuously evaluate current processes for improvement and/or efficiency.
- Handle complex client escalations for colleagues and assist in managing day-to-day operations.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience and/or 1 year of Call Center experience.
- Must have an active Personal Lines Insurance License.
- The ability to learn appropriate firm software systems.
- The ability to learn insurance products and grow in product knowledge.
- The ability to apply knowledge to explain products and policies clearly.
- Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads while adhering to deadlines.
- The ability to interact and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates the firm's behavioral tenets, exuding behavior aligned with our corporate culture.
