Employment Hero is looking for a Remote Intermediate Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our mission-driven team. You will be responsible for developing new product lines and critical features, enhancing legacy components, and contributing directly to technical strategy within a high-performing squad.
What You'll Do
- Develop new product lines and critical features using ReactJS and React Native within an AWS Cloud environment.
- Enhance legacy features for our award-winning HR tech platform.
- Provide input into technical strategy with your squad, including participating in sprint planning.
- Ensure high quality code through testing and conducting code reviews for yourself and colleagues.
- Share knowledge with your squad and mentor junior developers.
What We're Looking For
- Over 4 years of experience in Frontend Software Development.
- In-depth fundamental understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Redux, and build tools such as Webpack, Rollup, or ViteJS.
- Experience in CI/CD, web application performance tuning, and React/Redux applications.
- Demonstrated experience implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
- Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, and Agile methodology.
- Experience in translating design wireframes into functioning UI components.
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written).
Nice to Have
- Openness to upskill in Backend technologies in order to take on a FullStack Engineer role.
