EX Squared is hiring a Remote Financial Accounting Director to provide strategic leadership for our global accounting operations. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial reporting.

What You'll Do

Oversee the entire accounting function, including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulatory standards.
Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies.
Lead financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and technical accounting research.
Drive process improvements and system optimizations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
CPA certification is required.
Deep expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting.
Proven track record of managing the month-end close and audit processes.
Experience designing and implementing internal controls.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fully remote, global environment.
