EX Squared is looking for a Remote Big Data Engineer to architect and implement large-scale data solutions. You will be responsible for designing robust data infrastructure and pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines
- Implement and optimize distributed data processing systems
- Develop robust data models and ensure data quality and reliability
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data processing issues
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and operating large-scale data platforms
- Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language like Python, Java, or Scala
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Experience with cloud-based data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication skills
