Valatam seeks an organized, detail-oriented Remote Accounting Assistant to join our team. This is a 100% remote role ideal for bilingual professionals who will support our clients from Latin America. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth daily operations.
What You'll Do
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions and prepare balance sheets.
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs) and process tax payments.
- Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
- Perform other similar or related tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent English (C1/C2 level) and Spanish.
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping assistance.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Quiet home office, stable internet (≥10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and a backup connection.

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.

- Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696 – $1,044/month (experience-based).
