Responsibilities
- Shape design strategy and governance for architectural outputs that interface with nuclear safety cases and regulatory licensing.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet defence standards and best practices.
- Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders and industry partners, embedding safety, resilience, and operational readiness into all architectural decisions.
- Ensure that all facilities are conceived, designed, and delivered in strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in architectural planning, design, and delivery of defence infrastructure.
- Demonstrated competence in nuclear safety standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to shape design strategy and provide governance over architectural outputs.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR) requirements.
- Familiarity with Defence standards and international best practices (IAEA/ONR).
- Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory licensing and safety case integration in architectural design.
