About the Role

Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. You will play a critical role in assessing patient needs and working with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and nursing protocols.
  • Monitor vital signs and patient responses, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and patient education on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with standards.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff.
  • Participate in team meetings, conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to patient needs and emergencies.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor or designated manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical skills and precision in performing nursing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with electronic medical record systems and documentation preferred.

You will report directly to the Nursing Supervisor or designated manager.
