About the Role

Plymouth Health Services is looking for a Registered Nurse to take responsibility for a group of residents/patients during a shift. You will provide nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care, ensuring adherence to high standards.

What You'll Do

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty.
  • Provide nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
  • Adhere to standards of care for the area and manage the environment to maintain resident/patient safety.
  • Supervise the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers.
  • Follow all North Shore’s policies and procedures and perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Follow applicable JCAHO standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Active RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosage
  • Meets all health requirements imposed by law
  • Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications

Nice to Have

  • Skilled nursing experience

Team & Environment

You will be supervised by a Unit Manager, ADON, or DON.

  • Compensation: Up to $54.50 per hour
