Responsibilities
- Exhibits advanced expertise in sales with a proven track record of success.
- Oversees sales of the company’s offerings within a designated geographic area and specific accounts.
- Meets sales targets by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new ones.
- Maintains an organized customer database.
- Records customer interactions in the SalesForce database.
- Utilizes various resources to plan effective sales strategies, including past opportunities, invoices, and customer inquiries.
- Promotes new and existing products, identifies new opportunities, and secures additional business.
- Identifies and communicates potential opportunities with Regional Business Managers and Product Managers.
- Conducts effective sales calls and closes new business opportunities.
- Attends industry events and meetings as needed.
- Communicates promptly with customers and meets their expectations.
- Provides market and competitive insights to the organization.
- Collaborates with Product Managers to develop strategies for product expansion and customization.
- Assists in presentations, product demonstrations, and customer visits.
- Represents the Sales team on cross-functional projects with R&D, production, and manufacturing.
- Analyzes market trends, competition, and product mix; presents to current and potential customers.
- Develops innovative problem-solving approaches and expands technical and sales capabilities.
- Shares new problem-solving approaches with Regional Business Managers.
- Applies complex principles and theories in the field.
- Enhances technical methodologies through existing or new efforts.
- Provides training to junior Sales staff.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of direct sales experience in Networking or Network Security.
- Proven track record of success, including notable achievements and consistent quota attainment.
- Excellent consultative and solution-selling skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Residence in the region with a history of building relationships with local major accounts and channel partners.
- Proficiency in SalesForce, with a focus on accurate forecasting.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, CIS, or a related field.
- Background in sales engineering or training in CS, IT, or EE.
