Rolls-Royce is seeking a Regional Product Support Manager to oversee service area and account responsibilities, driving after-sales support and market penetration. You will identify new business opportunities for our MTU product line and provide expert guidance and support to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Manage your assigned service area by building strong relationships with local OEMs, distributors, dealers, and direct customers.
- Identify and submit business opportunities for after-sales products, including remanufactured items, digital solutions, and connectivity.
- Provide guidance to customers on new parts, remanufactured parts and engines, connectivity products, and genuine consumables.
- Regularly contact OEMs, distributors, dealers, direct customers, system integrators, and end-users to discuss service support.
- Oversee and investigate field policy matters using the Product Support Policy Manual to ensure fairness and build customer goodwill.
- Perform field inspections of failed parts to identify root causes and reduce future incidents using tools like FiRe and C4S.
- Collaborate with distributors and dealers to quickly address customer complaints and avoid unnecessary costs.
- Work with distributors to ensure timely submission of Fast Feedback Reports, Customer Care Center tickets, and technical feedback.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
- Keep management informed of sales trends, workload, projects, and major product concerns.
- Monitor and implement MTU's procedures, policies, and agreements to increase customer awareness and compliance.
- Ensure parts inventory levels are sufficient to provide quality service support and report any concerns.
- Prepare and present professional sales and service presentations to customers, management, and staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MTU products, applications, after-sales systems, and policies.
- Promote distributor and dealer training on systems, products, programs, and promotions.
- Ensure service modifications and campaigns are properly assigned and completed by distributors.
- Promote a compliance culture and adhere to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
- Perform special projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management and 5 years of applicable after-sales service support experience; or 9 years of after-sales service support experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% domestically and internationally.
Nice to Have
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation.
- Proficiency with PC and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of MTU organization, including products, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the SAP operating system.
