MyFlorida’s Department of Management Services seeks a Records Management Analyst to coordinate, manage, and process all public records requests and file reviews for the Bureau of Human Resources. In this role, you will serve as the key liaison between the General Counsel's Office and HR, handling sensitive legal documents and ensuring strict compliance.
What You'll Do
- Answer and respond to incoming telephone calls, emails, facsimiles, and mail regarding public records requests.
- Process public records and personnel file reviews according to Florida Statutes and Department of Juvenile Justice guidelines.
- Log, redact, process payments, and provide requested information in hard copy or electronic form to the requestor.
- Coordinate with Legal, and Finance & Accounting teams.
- Receive, review, process, and manage confidential records, public records, and personnel records requests in conjunction with Human Resources staff.
- Determine the cost for gathering, organizing, reviewing, and redacting records; generate invoices for costs and provide them to requestors.
- Handle all records and checks received; request extensions of time for subpoenas for records via the Office of the General Counsel.
- Ensure public records requests remain in compliance with the Government-in-the-Sunshine Manual and the department’s procedures.
- Serve as back-up for employment verification and disciplinary history.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing public records requests, legal documents, or confidential records.
- Strong understanding of compliance procedures related to records management.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments, including Legal and Finance.
- Meticulous attention to detail in logging, redacting, and processing sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with requestors and internal staff.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the People First State Personnel System is beneficial.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $1,730.77 Bi-weekly; $45,000 Annual
