We are searching for a skilled Real Estate Accountant with exceptional abilities in property financial management, bank draw verification, fiscal reporting, and proven proficiency with Rent Manager and QuickBooks. The perfect candidate demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and expertise in managing comprehensive property financial portfolios with precision and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Property & Real Estate Accounting - Execute comprehensive accounting processes for diverse property portfolios (residential, commercial, and mixed-use). - Process and reconcile tenant financial transactions, rental payments, security deposits, and operational expenses. - Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring punctual vendor compensation. - Conduct month-end financial closings and generate detailed property financial statements. Bank Draws & Audits - Compile comprehensive documentation for construction or property enhancement draw submissions. - Facilitate and support banking audit processes, guaranteeing financial data accuracy and audit compliance. - Maintain systematic digital documentation meeting lender and auditor specifications. - Monitor project budgetary allocations and validate expenses against contractual agreements. Financial Reporting - Create monthly, quarterly, and annual comprehensive reports for executive management and investment stakeholders. - Develop property-level Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and variance analytical reports. - Evaluate financial metrics to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential cost optimization opportunities. - Support year-end accounting procedures, tax documentation, and external CPA requirements. Requirements Qualifications - Mandatory real estate accounting background (property management, development, or investment sectors). - Extensive hands-on experience with Rent Manager (strongly preferred). - Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop). - Demonstrated expertise in bank draws, construction financial tracking, and audit preparation.
