CROSSMARK Australia is hiring an RDAS Store Mapper for Rockhampton, QLD. This casual role is part of our Retail Data Acquisition Services (RDAS) team. You will map store interiors using a mobile app to enable indoor navigation services, traveling to assigned locations and collecting data on walkable areas.
What You'll Do
- Pick up the mapping kit (iPhone and peripherals) from a designated UPS/FedEx point or contact.
- Attend a 30-minute online video-call training before your first site visit.
- Arrive at the scheduled site on time with the kit and a fully charged personal phone.
- Record surroundings by walking up and down aisles to cover all walkable areas, marking positions on the app's map.
- Maintain ongoing contact with a remote call-center via Google Meet on your personal phone for support and instructions.
- Fully charge the provided phone and power bank at the end of each day.
What We're Looking For
- Must live in Rockhampton or surrounding areas.
- Must have a strong sense of direction and orientation to mark pinpoints on a map.
- Must be patient, detail-oriented, and prepared to be on your feet for a full day navigating obstacles.
- Must be communicative, self-motivated, and independent.
- Must be comfortable with remote guidance, being monitored, and ongoing communication with an operator.
- Must complete relevant inductions required to enter supermarkets.
- Must have a current valid driver's license and a car.
Nice to Have
- Enjoy using mobile apps, preferably on an iPhone.
- An interest in activating a system that changes how people experience indoor spaces.
Technical Stack
- iPhone with a specialized mapping app.
- Google Meet for communication.
Team & Environment
You will join a national team of more than 400 people within Retail Data Acquisition Services (RDAS). You will report to and receive support from a remote operator and call-center.
