About the Role

Oversee the rail and transit sector, focusing on strategic planning, business development, and client relationship management to drive growth and innovation in transportation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the rail and transit sector.
  • Lead business development efforts to secure new projects and expand market presence.
  • Manage a team of professionals, including engineers, planners, and project managers.
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various disciplines and services.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and technology integration.
  • Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for the sector.
  • Participate in industry conferences, events, and professional organizations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for projects.
  • Ensure the sector's alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sector performance.

  • Manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure the sector's compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the sector.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in engineering, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
  • Experience with international projects and clients.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
