Responsibilities
- Establish, sustain, and enhance HACCP protocols in high-risk food production settings involving ready-to-eat, chilled, and cooked products.
- Design, manage, and continuously improve the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).
- Oversee document control processes, system revisions, and governance of all food safety records.
- Supervise Prerequisite Programs including sanitation, allergen management, pest prevention, and product traceability.
- Lead and support external audits such as SQF, government inspections, and customer reviews by preparing documentation, coordinating logistics, and managing corrective actions.
- Perform or assist in internal audits and drive ongoing quality improvement projects.
- Generate structured reports for monthly leadership reviews, track action items, and ensure accountability.
- Track, evaluate, and report on food safety and quality assurance KPIs, trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.
- Work across departments with Operations, New Product Development, and Commercial teams to align processes with quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulations from FSANZ, DAFF, and major retail clients including Coles Group Supplier Excellence requirements.
