Responsibilities
- Participate in a cross-functional agile team or a practice team that promotes quality assurance best practices across the domain.
- Collaborate closely with your team to deliver solutions meeting customer needs and support end-to-end application quality from concept to release, taking responsibility for product quality by designing, executing, and improving manual testing processes with attention to detail, documentation, and security.
- Work together on defining and executing test strategies, ensuring thorough manual test coverage at all levels including functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Ensure test data availability and relevance, and actively identify areas where manual testing is most effective.
- Help define quality measures for areas where automation has limitations, contributing to robust and reliable software delivery.
- Share QA expertise with team members to foster continuous improvement and a quality-first mindset throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with quality expectations.
- Support the team in identifying improvement opportunities and elevating testing standards, tools, and practices.
- Contribute to discussions on process enhancements, tool evaluation, and QA-related initiatives across teams and domains.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams to define, refine, and implement QA strategies and testing best practices.
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications (iOS, Android, Hybrid) to ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze requirements and user stories to create test scenarios and ensure clear, testable feature specifications.
- Participate in grooming and planning sessions to advocate for quality and contribute to testing estimates.
- Detect, document, and track software defects in coordination with developers and product teams.
- Ensure proper test data setup and manage exploratory testing when automation is not applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English and German, where required.
