Boeing Australia is hiring a Quality Engineer to play a critical role in integrating data analytics into our quality management systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to build robust processes, perform collective analysis, and support root cause corrective actions.

What You'll Do

Research contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for proposals and program processes.
Develop sections of quality metrics, design, and production certification plans for compliance.
Analyze capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
Participate in design reviews to ensure quality attributes are integrated.
Perform data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate corrective action effectiveness.
Compile performance reports and statistical data to verify process capability.
Represent Quality on team activities to integrate requirements into proposals and programs.
Provide Quality interpretation of requirements.
Develop quality and certification plans for small programs.
Conduct capability assessments and process validations for suppliers.
Perform analysis, tests, and process audits for readiness.
Recommend corrective actions for non-conformances.
Perform benchmarking and analysis to ensure specified process capability levels.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
1+ year of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.
1+ year of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions.
Experience in business intelligence or data warehousing development.
Software programming skills and experience with languages such as R, Python, MATLAB, Java, C, or C++.
Experience applying machine learning approaches to large data sets.

Nice to Have

1+ year of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
Experience developing root cause corrective actions.
Certification in Six Sigma / Lean Principles.
Various ASQ certifications (e.g., SPC implementation, data analysis).
Certified Analytics Professional credential.
Experience developing data visualization tools like Tableau or similar.
Knowledge of BI & analytic tools such as Tableau, Power BI and their platforms.
Experience managing large data sets, including SQL, eCommerce platforms, and data science methods.
