HARTING Technology Group is looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure our quality KPIs meet their targets and to drive continuous improvement across our production processes. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for quality topics, managing documentation, audits, and leading complaint resolution.
What You'll Do
- Ensure quality KPIs are fulfilling the targets through frequent monitoring of production processes and output.
- Drive continuous improvement of quality aspects and ensure professional communication on all quality-related topics.
- Handle and lead cross-functional teams for both external and internal quality complaints.
- Create and maintain quality documents, including Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Check Sheets.
- Create and follow up on PPAP for new projects.
- Manage test equipment calibration, replacement, purchasing, and planning for new projects.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Cooperate with other departments and represent the quality perspective during daily Shop Floor Meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor and Manager.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in an engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a relevant industry.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management tools like SPC, A3 Report, FMEA, Ishikawa, 8D, and 5 Why.
- Experience in a manufacturing company and with manufacturing processes is mandatory.
- Good digital skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Good written English skills and the capability for oral communication in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in semi-auto assembly, injection molding, die-casting, or aluminum machining.
- Practical experience with the quality module of SAP.
- Adequate knowledge of standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949.
