The Senior Quality Engineer will join the Engineering team in Hyderabad, focusing on building and maintaining test automation frameworks, validating complex data environments, and integrating automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and Cypress.
- Build and manage end-to-end automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and data processing systems.
- Speed up test development by creating reusable test components, utilities, and shared libraries.
- Develop comprehensive automated tests for API endpoints and services.
- Enhance and sustain existing automation suites, including regression, smoke, and sanity tests.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to optimize system performance and data handling.
- Interact with core infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, and various database systems.
- Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end test automation from the ground up.
- Demonstrated experience testing enterprise-level web applications or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience validating complex data workflows or data-intensive software systems.
