The Quality Auditor, Footwear plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position conducts regular in-line and finished goods audits to verify compliance with established specifications and identifies areas for improvement before shipment.
What You'll Do
Perform daily in-line inspections to monitor production procedures and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks. Lead root cause investigations for defects found during production and work directly with service providers to develop and track corrective action plans. Report quality deviations promptly to supervisors and follow up on recurring issues identified in walkthrough reports.
Review pre-production samples, packing instructions, and quality documentation such as ES, CS, and QLA reports to reinforce critical quality expectations with manufacturing partners. Approve new style packing instructions and updates for flat packing formats. Conduct finished goods audits using defined parameters and perform IQC audits to evaluate the effectiveness of factory quality control systems.
Train and certify factory quality personnel based on production demands. Monitor returns of defective footwear, ensuring thorough analysis and implementation of long-term solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in footwear quality management
- Strong technical understanding of footwear manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with AQL standards and quality control systems
- Fluent English communication skills, along with proficiency in relevant local Asian languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in luxury or fashion footwear preferred
- Degree from a university or related field is a plus
